​Would you like to become a ‘Friend of Lochaber Women’s Aid?’

Can you lend us a hand?

Do you occasionally have time to help us?

​We are looking to enlist the help of people who support our work and would like to help us sustain our service.

Whilst this might primarily be with our fundraising activities and events, we are also keen to enlist the help of people with skills that could help us with specific activities e.g. you may have drawing or design skills that could help us improve our poster and leaflet designs. You may want to help us with one of our fundraising events, or you might want to organise your own fundraising activities in your local community, at school or at work to raise funds for us. Ideas such as: cake sale, quiz night, sponsored silence, bring and buy sale, raffles, a craft day, sponsorship of a sporting activity e.g. 10k race or a shinty match.

We are not looking for a regular or long term commitment. We would like your help with occasional activities and events. Joining ‘Friends of Lochaber Women’s Aid’ will offer you the opportunity to meet others, make new friends, to use your skills and experience and to possibly try new things.
